About 10 years ago I completely a big move to the east coast. There was the usual packing of my stuff. Then there was the moving truck rental. There was no money in the bank account to afford professional movers. So this was a move your own stuff type move. More
Everything was going as planned as I drove the long drive. The issue I encountered was upon arrival. They actually have rules about parking big trucks on the city streets. This was my first problem. So my moving truck had tickets right away. But that wasn’t even the big issue. The big issue in my move was that the storage unit was not open on Sunday’s. This was a major problem because the moving truck was due back and I had to be at work the next morning. So, I actually got the number of one of the people who worked at the storage unit. And I found someone who would be willing to come in when the storage unit place was not normally open. So, okay, I had to pay him $50. There really were not many options here. I was quite scared when we got to the storage unit and nobody was there. But luckily he answered his phone and came right down. Happy ending to my storage unit and moving story - just cost me $50. A cool recommendation.
