My husband and I recently decided to move to England for a couple years. My husband was offered a spot in a fantastic MBA program there, so we thought it would be a nice change of scenery. We recently moved from one part of the city to another. We always hired a moving companies for our previous moves. The container was picked up the next day and immediately delivered to our new abode.

Now moving day is always hectic. Having to unload and unpack everything in new place the same day that you just packed the old place is exhausting. Our furniture and heavy boxes were offloaded by movers (we hired the same guys we hired in the packing phase) that day. I remember clearly when our friends decided to move from DC not too long ago. They had been here not too long, but long enough. We had become friends because the lived near us.
